Representing Lao PDR, the delegation included four participants from the Lao Ministry of Health Food and Drug Department, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce Department of Industry, and the Department of Intellectual Property, as well as a representative from Laos Alliance Pharmaceutical Group.
The workshop focused on building conducive ecosystems for local production and technology transfer to enhance access to high-quality health products. By prioritizing sustainable and efficient production processes, the event emphasized the strategic importance of empowering local industries to meet regional health needs effectively.
Through presentations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, participants shared experiences, built capacity, and exchanged insights to address key challenges in the region. This collaborative approach aims to foster a sustainable supply of health products, strengthen regulatory frameworks, and promote innovation in local production.
