Composition:
Each tablet contains:
Ivermectin………………………………3mg.
Indications:
• Ivermectin is an anti-parasitic medication used orally to treat strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis, ascariasis, trichuriasis and enterobiasis.
Dosage:
• Orally administered, 1mg per 5kg of body weight, must be taken on an empty stomach at least 2 hours after last meal and at least 1 hour before next meal. Swallow with at least 250ml water.
Contraindications:
• Pregnant and lactating women should not use this drug.
Warnings:
• Do not take this medication while pregnant.
Adverse effects:
• Possible adverse reactions include; diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, eye pain and problems with vision, skin rash, mental confusion, swollen glands and swelling of the hands and feet.
Dosage form:
• Green tablet.
Expiry date: 24 months after date of manufacture.
Packaging:
• Contained in 2 blister packs, 12 tablets per blister pack.
Storage:
• Store this medicine in original packaging at room temperature away from heat, moisture and direct sunlight.
• Keep out of reach of children.
