Composition:    
Each tablet contains:
Mefenamic acid……………………………….500mg


Indications:
•  For mild to moderate pain, such as pain after dental, obstetric or orthopedic surgery, as well as soft tissue injury pain and bone and joint pain, dysmenorrhea and vascular headache.


Dosage:
•  Adult oral dosage: analgesia or treatment of dysmenorrhea, 500mg for first dose then 250mg once every 6 hours for a maximum of 7 days.


Contraindications:                
•  This product is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to this product and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
•  Inflammatory bowel disease.
•  Active peptic ulcer.
•  Pregnant and lactating women.


Warnings:
•  Cross-allergy: People who are allergic to Aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may have cross-allergic reactions to this drug. This product can also cause bronchospasm in patients with asthma who are allergic to aspirin.
•  This product should be taken after meals or with food to reduce irritation to the gastrointestinal tract.
•  This product should not be used for a long time. Generally, the course of treatment should not extend 7 days each time.
•  If rash or diarrhea occur during the course of treatment, discontinue immediately.
•  Chemotherapy patients should use with extreme caution as its use can cause gastrointestinal and renal toxicity as well as inhibit platelet function.


Adverse effects:
•  Gastrointestinal reactions are common, such as, abdominal discomfort, heartburn, loss of appetite, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea and indigestion. Severe cases can cause peptic ulcers. Less common side effects may include, dizziness, headache, sweating, shortness of breath, difficulty sleeping, etc.


Dosage form: White tablet.


Expiry date:  24 months after date of manufacture.


Packaging:
•  2 blister packs, 10 tablets per blister pack.
•  50 blister packs, 10 tablets per blister pack.


Storage:
•  Store in original packaging under 25ᵒC, protected from moisture and direct sunlight.
•  Keep out of reach of children.
