Composition : Atorvastatin Calcium……….20mg.


Indications:
Hypercholesterolemia, primary hypercholesterolemia, coronary heart disease, complex dyslipidemia.


Dosage:
•  The treatment of primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed hyperlipidemia: 10 mg, once daily.
•  Heterozygous type treatment of familial hypercholesterolemia: initial dose of 10 mg/day per day. The dose can be gradually adjusted to 40mg/ day at the interval of every 4 weeks. Maximum dose 80mg/ day.
•  Treatment of homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia: The recommended dose of this product is 10-80mg/ day.


Contraindications:
•  Active liver disease.
•  Known allergy to any component of this product.
•  Pregnancy.
•  Lactating women.


Warning:
•  Use with caution in children.
•  Elderly people should be careful with medication.


Adverse Effects:
•  Gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, rash, dizziness, blurred vision and taste disturbance.
•  Occasionally can cause reversible elevation of blood aminotransferase.
•  Rare adverse reactions include impotence, insomnia, myositis, myalgia and rhabdomyolysis, acute renal failure, abnormal liver function, adrenal and gonadal effects, and central nervous system toxicity.
•  Hepatitis, pancreatitis and allergic reactions such as angioneurotic edema have been reported.


Dosage form: White tablets.


Expiry date: 24 months from the date of manufacture.

•  Store at room temperature 20-25℃, in original packaging.
•  Keep out of reach of children.
