Composition:
Each tablet contains:
Artemether……………………………………….20mg
Lumefantrine……………………………………….120mg
Indication:
• Orally administered to treat malaria.
Dosage:
• Administer 24 tablets over 3 days 4 tablets in the morning and 4 tablets in the evening use a 3-day treatment schedule with a total of 6 doses, take with food. If patient vomits within 1-2 hours re-administer dose.
Contraindications:
• Do not take medication if you are using carbamazepine, phenytoin, rifampin or St. John’s wort.
Warning:
• This medication should not be taken during the first trimester of pregnancy and during the second and third trimesters only if the risk to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.
Adverse effects:
• Muscle and joint pain, loss of appetite and headache.
Dosage form: Yellow tablets.
Expiry date：24 months after date of manufacture.
Packaging: Contained in 2 blister packs, 12 tablets per blister pack.
Storage:
• Store below 30ᵒC leave tablets inside blister until use. Once tablets are removed from the blister, they must be administered immediately.
