On 5 January 2026 in Phnom Penh, Laos Alliance Pharmaceutical Group and Mane Group of Cambodia signed a 50/50 joint venture agreement establishing PHANNTHAMIT Co., Ltd — a new pharmaceutical and healthcare company created to serve the Cambodian market.
The venture pairs Alliance’s manufacturing capacity and technical expertise with Mane Group’s infrastructure, distribution reach and regulatory network inside Cambodia. Both groups were represented at the signing ceremony in the capital.
PHANNTHAMIT will serve all 25 provinces and Phnom Penh through a pharmacy-first distribution model, beginning with essential generic and hospital medicines supported by structured quality assurance and compliance processes. Operations are expected to begin during 2026, from a corporate headquarters in Phnom Penh.
Looking further ahead, the two partners have said they intend to explore a PHANNTHAMIT pharmaceutical factory in Cambodia, and share a longer-term ambition that extends to a stem-cell clinic and an international hospital. No timetable has been set for those projects.
The company trades under the promise Trusted Medicines, Better Lives.
