Alliance Pharma Group — six-month achievements 2026

During the first half of 2026, Alliance Pharma Group continued to execute its long-term strategy focused on international expansion, manufacturing excellence, product innovation, talent development, and advanced biopharmaceutical technologies. These initiatives have strengthened the company’s capabilities while laying the foundation for sustainable long-term growth.

Since establishing its manufacturing operations in the Saysettha Development Zone in 2017, Alliance has remained committed to innovation, quality, and international development. Today, the company holds approximately 27% of the Lao pharmaceutical market, making it the country’s largest and most advanced pharmaceutical manufacturer.

More than a milestone for Alliance, 2026 marks the beginning of a new chapter as the company accelerates its vision of becoming a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing partner across Southeast Asia.

II

Accelerating International Growth and Expanding Across ASEAN

In January 2026, Alliance officially signed a joint venture agreement with Cambodia’s Mane Group to establish a new company serving the Cambodian market.

Leveraging Mane Group’s nationwide distribution network across all 25 provinces and Phnom Penh, the joint venture will distribute pharmaceuticals and healthcare products while providing a strong foundation for Alliance’s continued expansion throughout ASEAN.

Beyond Cambodia, Alliance has continued to strengthen relationships with partners across Pakistan, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and the Middle East, further expanding its international business network and creating new opportunities for future growth.

Designed to meet international GMP standards, the new facility will feature intelligent manufacturing systems, advanced quality management, and an integrated development strategy focused on both generic medicines and biopharmaceuticals.

This investment represents more than expanded manufacturing capacity—it reflects Alliance’s commitment to strengthening international competitiveness while elevating pharmaceutical manufacturing in Laos to a new standard of quality.

IV

ALI-TIRZEP Enters Commercial Manufacturing

In 2026, Alliance officially commenced commercial-scale manufacturing of ALI-TIRZEP (Tirzepatide), developed through the company’s own research and development program.

The product is manufactured as a multi-dose cartridge injection pen, offering greater convenience and ease of use for patients.

As a member of the globally recognized GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist class of medicines, Tirzepatide requires exceptionally high standards in research, manufacturing, and quality control. This milestone represents another significant advancement in Alliance’s capabilities in biopharmaceutical research, manufacturing, and product development while expanding the company’s portfolio for international markets.

V

Supporting National Healthcare Priorities Through Advanced Pharmaceutical Innovation

Ministry of Health officials review construction progress at Alliance’s second campus, 13 May 2026.

On 13 May 2026, senior officials from the Ministry of Health of Lao PDR visited Alliance’s second manufacturing campus to review construction progress and discuss the future development of Laos’ pharmaceutical industry.

Discussions focused on strengthening domestic pharmaceutical manufacturing, expanding production of essential medicines, and supporting the country’s long-term healthcare objectives.

Alliance continues to advance research and preparation for the local production of specialized medicines, contributing to Laos’ pharmaceutical self-sufficiency. At the same time, the company is investing in stem cell technologies and regenerative medicine, laying the groundwork for future innovation in advanced biopharmaceutical therapies.

VI

Building the Next Generation of Pharmaceutical Talent

People remain the foundation of Alliance’s long-term success.

In 2026, Alliance established a strategic partnership with Chuxiong Medical Higher Specialized College to strengthen international education and workforce development in pharmaceutical and medical sciences.

The partnership includes overseas internship programs, tailored professional training, and two-way talent exchange between China and Laos.

As Alliance continues to expand internationally, these collaborations will help develop the highly skilled workforce required to support the company’s future growth.

VII

Strengthening Patient Safety Through Anti-Counterfeiting Measures

Alliance remains firmly committed to protecting patients and preserving the integrity of its products.

Following the discovery of counterfeit ALI-TIRZEP products in the marketplace, the company issued an official public statement warning consumers to purchase only through authorized channels and to verify product authenticity using official packaging, Lao FDA registration information, and anti-counterfeiting verification features.

Alliance will continue to pursue legal action against counterfeit products to safeguard patient safety and protect consumer confidence.

VIII

Advancing Innovation in High-Impact and Rare Disease Therapies

Alliance continues to expand its research and development efforts in therapies for major chronic diseases and rare diseases, reinforcing the company’s commitment to scientific innovation and improving access to advanced healthcare solutions.

By investing in cutting-edge technologies, strengthening research capabilities, and fostering international collaboration, Alliance is building a platform for the next generation of pharmaceutical innovation in Laos and throughout Southeast Asia.
