A 50/50 joint venture with Mane Group to bring trusted medicines to all 25 provinces of Cambodia.
On 5 January 2026 in Phnom Penh, Alliance — Laos Alliance Pharmaceutical Group — and Mane Group of Cambodia signed a 50/50 joint venture to establish PHANNTHAMIT, a new pharmaceutical and healthcare distribution company for the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The venture pairs Alliance’s manufacturing capacity and technical know-how with Mane Group’s infrastructure, distribution reach and regulatory network in Cambodia. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Cambodia’s Department of Drugs and Food (Ministry of Health) and the President of the Pharmacy Association of Cambodia.
PHANNTHAMIT will serve all 25 provinces and Phnom Penh through a pharmacy-first model, starting with essential generics and hospital medicines backed by structured quality assurance and compliance. Operations are expected to begin in 2026, following product registration, packaging redesign, barcode compliance and bilingual patient information leaflets.
Looking further ahead, the partners plan to explore a PHANNTHAMIT pharmaceutical factory in Cambodia, and share a longer-term vision for a stem-cell clinic and an international hospital — positioning PHANNTHAMIT as a Cambodian brand with ASEAN ambitions.
